In order to apply for an F-1, M-1, or J-1 visa, an applicant must have a sponsor (either a private or public institution such as a university) that has been approved by the U.S. Department of State. Approval from a sponsor is one of the eligibility requirements an applicant must meet before filing their student visa application. Upon acceptance into an accredited F-1/M-1/J-1 program, an official form I-20 (F-1/M-1) or DS-2019 (J-1) will be issued to the prospective student. RapidVisa’s team will determine whether you have a government-approved sponsor before moving forward with your application.
